Marathon For The Hungry
November 18, 2011
The KPYN Marathon raised 3,000
lbs of food today.
The 5th Annual Marathon for the hungry was held in the parking
lot of Brookshires in Atlanta today. The marathon raised 3,000
lbs of food for Rebecca’s Pantry, a ministry of West Side
Baptist church. This ministry serves the community by providing
basic food needs and relies largely on donations made by the
public. Judy Ragsdale of Rebecca’s Pantry said “Thank you, we
really appreciate the communities support.”
